The Nearly New Shop is a "mini-department store" carrying a wide variety of donated items. It is staffed almost solely with volunteers from the community.
Items for donation may be dropped off at the Nearly New Shop at the rear of the Sun City Center Plaza main shopping center during the hours of 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday, or on Thursday and Friday. Please, no donations on Wednesdays or Saturdays as these are sale days for the shop. The volunteers are unable to handle donations and conduct sales. Call 813-642-9099 to make arrangements for pick up of larger items such as furniture.
The actual sale hours of operation are Wednesday and Saturday 8:00 AM until Noon. During the summer months (June, July and August) the shop is closed on Wednesdays. Merchandise revenue from sales is returned to the community through grants and scholarships.
